I’ve always dreamed of Thanksgiving being “my holiday.” The one day a year my entire family ascends on my home to enjoy more food than we can possibly eat, all of the Charlotte beer, and the TV is on football 100% of the day. Each year, I can feel this dream coming closer to reality.
While I didn’t host the meal this year, I did make most of the side dishes, some appetizers and attempted to make a pie. If you could have seen me loading all of this into my car you would have thought I was feeding an army, not just four people.
